The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, the Pontifical Academy for Life and other key partners are organizing an international interfaith symposium on palliative care. Entitled “Towards a Narrative of Hope,” this symposium will take place May 21-23, 2024 in Toronto.

With the objective to educate and build a culture of social responsibility in palliative care, experts from medical, ethical and pastoral contexts will focus on translating insights from the presentations and discussions into concrete strategies of actions.

A brief video, sharing more about this important international interfaith symposium can be found below.

We pray for all those who will be traveling to the Archdiocese of Toronto to participate in this important discussion as faith communities work pro-actively on a pastoral response to end-of-life issues.
