Liturgical Ministries
Altar Servers
- Assist the Priest at Masses
- Volunteers must have received their First Holy Communion
Children's Liturgy of the Word
- Celebrate the Liturgy of the Word with children (aged 4-11) in the church hall, as a teacher or a helper, one Sunday per month.
Lectors
- Proclaim the Scripture readings at Mass
- Recite the Responsorial Psalm between the readings as required
- Announce the intentions for the Prayers of the Faithul
- Make the general announcements
Minister of Hospitality (Ushers)
- Welcome parishioners as they arrive at Mass
- Offer information and assistance
- Take up the collection
Ministers of Music
- Lead the congregation in song at Mass
- Work with members of the choir in providing music for the Liturgy
Eucharistic Ministers
- Assist the priest in distributing Holy Communion at Mass
- Prepare the altar and sanctuary with the appropriate vessels and hosts
- Clean the vessels and return them to their proper places
Ministers of the Sick
Visit, offer prayerful ministry and the Eucharist to those who are ill, homebound or elderly (this is offered in homes, long-term care facilities and other residences.)

- Helping repairing broken items, replacing lightbulbs, etc. General electrical and carpentry skills an asset.
